New Version LIVE

We have just taken the new version of BSA live.  We have the TTL’s set pretty low, so hopefully your DNS is snappy wherever you are.  If you’re still seeing the maintenace page from the old site then your DNS has not yet updated.  Rest assured, this will not affect your website(s) and any ads that are live – the ad server is very much separated from the live site.

That is all the news we have for now.  If you run into an issue please DO NOT post a comment here, please follow normal support procedures and submit your query/issue to support@buysellads.com or use the form on the site: http://buysellads.com/support.  We will be monitoring the site closely and will post more info about the new version later this week.

Much better than before. Especially, the “sort by” feature helps a lot.

  6. When I edit the properties of my site http://buysellads.com/buy/detail/1064 I cannot save because it says ‘You must provide a valid URL address’.

I don’t know what to do I tried either with free-brushes.com and free-brushes.com/ and I got the same error.

  13. Looks good Todd. Only thing I don’t like is that you removed the page rank display for publisher’s sites. Not that there’s any PR bleed since the ads are output via Javascript, but I still think it gives potential advertisers an idea of how “awesome” your site. Example, our page rank is 8, and I like people to know that :)

  16. GREAT JOB & FINALLY !

my only 2 beefs with the system

    1) Your only allowed to cash out via paypal twice a month
    2) You can’t manually update statistics

I’m sure this will improve hopefully in the near future.

    • we’ll be adding back the manual refresh of stats. for the cashout’s limited to twice per month… is it necessary to cashout more than twice per month?

  17. Cool update. I’m wondering, do publishers have access to the graphs etc that advertisers get for each individual ad. I’m interested in the type of click-thru’s I am getting.

    • Yes, on the publisher dashboard, click on “view details” next to the site title and you will see stats for all of the active ads on your site.

  19. Looks good.

Though I’m not quite sure if it works properly. The publisher dashboard is showing wrong stats, and I can’t add Twitter or RSS links to my existing “properties”.

Are all the cool features for advertisers? What’s new for publishers?
