Advertiser Recommendations
One of the challenges for advertisers working with BSA is finding the right placements. Our inventory is growing daily, and despite the nice sliders and new categorization, it is still sometimes a bit of a challenge and process to go through all of our inventory. We receive requests daily from advertisers asking for recommendations on which sites to advertise on, etc. Therefore, it only made sense to automate this a bit more on our side. Now, when we are asked for recommendations, not only do we make them for the requesting advertiser, we also make them for other advertisers at the same time. No, this doesn’t mean that we’re doing any sort of “bulk” recommendations or automated recommendations and just dumping them into advertiser accounts. These are hand-picked recommendations with each specific advertiser in mind.
What does it look like?
When you go to the Buy Ads page, if you have recommendations you will see a notification at athe top of the page:
When you click on a recommended listing you will then see which zone we have recommended:
This highlight will also show up on the listing detail page:

How about also letting the advertisers recommend a website when they are satisfied by clicking a button?
I think it would be fair and it would automate the process even more.
Not sure about ‘also letting the advertisers recommend a website when they are satisfied by clicking a button’ as some website is good for one advertiser and not that good for some other.
e.g. your content is mainly focused on ‘Flash’, most of your users are interested in Flash and advertiser website sell Vectors or anything similar, he surelly won’t click a recomendation button but that doesn’t mean you’re bad advertiser for some website that sell Flash components.
Perhaps recomendation button for flash advertisers, vectors advertisers, html/css advertisers and so on.
