I am proud to announce 2 new programs we have just launched: Premium & Pay Per Click. As you know, we have traditionally sold display ads at fixed 30-day rates. It is important to note that we are not abandoning the sponsorship model at all, it is still our core business. However, there has been a growing need for both advertisers and publishers to have more options. Premium and Pay Per Click are the first additional options we are releasing in a series of innovative developments that we have to come. These 2 new programs are very important milestones for us, here’s why:
- When it comes to publishers earning based on performance with text ads, their options are limited. Right now, the only viable option for a website in the web design & development space is Google AdSense. With the launch of Pay Per Click, publishers will now have a second option that is potentially more profitable for them than the latter.
- We have included A/B testing functionality for the Premium & Pay Per Click programs; we will be expanding this functionality across all placements.
- It has been very hard for larger advertisers to get accustomed to our fixed 30-day rate system; since they’re used to making traditional ad buys. With the use of BSA Premium and Pay Per Click, they’ll now be able to buy across the network – versus having to use small batch ad buys.
- We’re bringing the same transparency that we brought to display ads to Pay Per Click. Other Pay Per Click ad networks don’t do this.
- It is our first step toward targeting for advertisers. For example, do you have a software app that is Mac only? With BSA Premium, you’ll be able to show your ads to Mac users only.
While both programs are in a beta stage right now, they are live and producing real results for both advertisers and publishers. We are adding new publishers and advertisers to the beta every day. To learn more about each program, please visit the following links: Premium and Pay Per Click.

this cool to add new options
this sounds absolutely awesome – definatly the way forward I think..
Sounds interesting! Will have to check it out :)
Looks like some great new features. will this make BSA ads compatible with Adsense ?
yes sir ;)
Good updates for customers, to have vialble options is the way to go for long term growth two thumbs up : )
Looks good, thank you for letting us know :)
looking forward to this being rolled out to publishers, much better targeting than a certain other ad network I could mention! The icons look like a nice touch too, much more attractive/noticeable on design related sites
I’m going to try this for sure. Thanks for the information. :)
these are good news, cool to add new options. thanks..
Nice to see you are expanding and launching new ideas. I would like to see more sites that are not web design related in your inventory. The current model works but it somewhat limited to web design.
Thanks for the comment Max, yes, one of the other projects in our pipeline is an information architecture project that will make other verticals close to design feel “at home” with BSA.
That looks great! Hope we publishers will be able to earn more in the coming days. Thanks for the information Todd!
Cheers,
Lee
Wow, this is fantastic. I look forward to adding the PPC ones to my properties. How long before everyone has access to do it?
we will have more info on when it will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
Oh cool..Thank god I read this comment because I was searching your website from 10 minutes around on how to get the ppc code for my blog..Hope to see it soon.
We appreciate the enthusiasm. ;)
It’ll be worth it!
Thanks for the reply.
Greetings from Egypt!
Are you planning to serve publishers in languages other than English?
Cool, so long as the payout is good. Online advertising rates have been traditionally set far too low, and advertisers need a good kick in the rear.
It can be hard for even behemoth sites to get more than $1 CPM, while advertisers are ready to drop big $$$ for TV or magazine ads that offer no way of tracking or quantifying views or response rates. Web ads offer so much in the way of statistics and analytics, yet companies are unwilling to pay a decent rate for a medium they’re still not comfortable with.
I perfectly agree with you mate but the trend is in our favor.
The market could offer more than $1 CPM if they are trying something even more targeted than the traditional niche, such as, what Todd mentioned in the article, if you have an app which is only for Mac, why advertise on Win users, let’s offer this in premium and let’s increase the CPM for the publisher. ;)
Cheers,
Great addition, looking for adding in my network.
Good we will now have more options.
That is just great!
Can’t wait to try it out.
Thanks for constantly improving this great service.
Thanks BuySellAds for this new option and thanks Todd for this information. Looking forward to use this new feature asap.
Awesome Todd. Nice work. Looking forward to it!
Also we will like to see analytics tools to view the IP addresses for clicks, the location of clicks and so on.
Because clicks can be falsified as we all know by the publisher or some paid false clickers.
So please buysellads add this.
Thanks.
certainly, we would not launch a PPC program without taking measures against click fraud ;)
so will there be a stats to look at location? and IP addresses of who clicked?
I mean right now all i see on my advertisers dashboard is clicks and impressions which tells nothing really.
Thanks for the reply.
Thanks for creating such place to earn more.
PPC Sounds like a great thing! thanks for adding this
It is good to have these options on BuySellAds. Looking forward to use this new feature.
how much that we will get from the advertisements ?
thanks
Nice idea, I’m looking forward to try this out and see what I can get from that and if get more that from adsense then good bye adsense xD
Is there a way to remove this option from the bottom of my BSA ad page? I don’t really want to offer this service, and the bright green of the button, and the name “premium” seem to draw people away from my ads and into this program.
Great features, I’m looking forward to use them.
The current options for 30 days is a little bit limiting. This will give more flexibility regarding my budget I think. I will check it out.
This is interesting, I hope its like google. But how would you put the code in ur website?
I laughed at the post because you’re PPC ads will be more profitable than ladders.
I think you meant “more profitable than the latter,” teehee.
I would love to try this new PPC on Inside the Webb, I saw it on Web Design Ledger and it looks really great. I bet I could gain a hell of a lot of clicks through this!
my name is tafisko
