Yesterday, we announced Bundles to help advertisers find great placements and today we have Leaderboards. Leaderboards are our way of giving advertisers some added insight into which sites within our inventory perform the best. What is special about Leaderboards is that it puts all sites on a level playing field. Whether your site has 50 thousand impressions or 5 million, you have a chance at standing out with Leaderboards – the only requirement is that your site perform well. Performance can also vary by ad and by advertiser; there are many factors to consider when looking at performance – the ad size, design, placement on the page, ad price, etc. We have come up with a handful of different algorithms to gauge an ad zones performance and grouped the Leaderboards into different price ranges.
