Cofounders United Through a BSA Ad

Earlier today Todd shared an email he received with our team. It made us very proud to be working on a product that is changing people’s lives for the better.

We decided as a team that we wanted to share this with our community. Thanks to Tyler for letting us repost his email.

Hello! I don’t know if you remember me, but I previously bought ads through BuySellAds shortly after you launched. My businesses at the time, FeatherCode (and later SnobbySlice) did PSD to HTML coding and we grew through buying ads through you guys.

What you may not know however, is that FeatherCode was my first business that I started shortly after my 16th birthday (just a few months after BSA was founded).

Ironically, one of those first ads I bought with my birthday money not only help turn FeatherCode into a successful business, but an
advertising agency in the Netherlands clicked on one of those ads. The founder of that agency and I became close friends and are now business partners in our new, angel backed venture called SimplySocial. So far, things are going really really well.

He would have never became a client (and business partner) if he didn’t click in our ad, purchased through your site!

Think of how many other stories you’ve been a part of in people’s lives and business careers… Must be really exciting. Keep up the great work! I was really glad to see you in Inc magazine and I thought I should touch base.
