The messaging system allows advertisers and publishers to mutually agree to a connection (just like LinkedIn), and from then on, they can freely communicate within the BSA application. We have the “connect” buttons live for advertisers on all of their ad detail views throughout the app, and we’ll be adding the same for publishers in the next couple weeks. It’s important to us that advertiser and publisher privacy is respected (and, let’s be honest, we want to avoid a bunch of spam), and this is why both parties are required to explicitly agree to the connection before any communication can occur.
